July 1 Launch for Kush-i.net live Reggae web series

On July 1, 2011 Kush-i.net will launch Jamaica’s first live reggae web series featuring personal yet powerful acoustic performances by top reggae artists, keeping the focus on love, unity and positivity.

Kush-i.net believes that music has great power and with that power comes great responsibility. Whether Reggae, Gospel, or Hip Hop, it has the power to shape your point of view and affect your day-to-day actions.

This one of a kind, uplifting live music web series, dubbed ‘Kush-I Live Reggae Sessions’, will officially commence on August 30th, 2011 with a special preview of these sessions being released on International Reggae Day, July 1st, 2011. Live intimate musical performances by artists such as I-Wayne, Sizzla, Protoje and more, will be available for viewing on Kush-i.net at no charge to viewers. Most if not all performances will be complimented by the musical stylings of world famous guitarist Chinna Smith who has played for the likes of Bob Marley, Ziggy Marley and Sizzla Kalonji.

International Reggae Day, July 1st, is an online media festival utilizing the power of music, media and technology to highlight the impact of Jamaican music and culture globally. Kush-i.net supports this mission fully as Jamaican culture is something that needs to be celebrated, especially by us as Jamaicans. To show our support, this day has been chosen to officially launch the website. Exclusive footage and free music courtesy of Xterminator Productions as well as special previews of the upcoming Kush-I Live Reggae Sessions will be released on this day.
